We wanted to ask, when you initially read the part, were you surprised by how 'edgy' elements of her character were? It was certainly a fantastic part, which as an actor you must have longed to develop and explore. Did you wonder if her courtesan past would be considered a little too strong for the shows intended audience, and how she would be received once the show aired? What was the initial feedback like?

I went to NY in my senior year and again visited the set where she set up an audition for me at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. I got a scholarship there and also auditioned to be an apprentice at the Williamstown Summer theatre the summer before that. (I had one semester of college before I blasted off) Note the spaceship terms.

I refuse to mentally give up our Battlestar Galactica to the new guys. (I'm sure it's very good though)
