LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- NBC's "Life" is getting a special post-"Heroes" showcase next month.
A two-part episode of the series will kick off on Monday, December 3 at 10:00/9:00c before concluding in its regular time period on Wednesday, December 5 at 10:00/9:00c.
The former installment will have the "Heroes" "fall finale" as its lead-in.
Sci Fi and USA will apparently drop their respective encores of "Bionic Woman" and "Life" after this week. No reason for the change was given.

Yeah...
They need to get Life as far away from BW as possible. With a lead in like that, it's a wonder that Life is doing as well as it is. I'm sure that it will do even better on an 8pm Monday slot.

What happens to Journeyman???

Journeyman isn't on until 10pm, so it's not affected by the scheduling change.

Hmm...
Over here the lineup is Chuck, Heroes and Journeyman.
So if Heroes is the the lead in, then Journeyman must not be on.
Hopefully itd just a break and nothing more.

I think it just a temporary preemption.
Life is better than Journeyman though.

Wow. Considering that I have yet to watch a single episode of "Life," color me intrigued. But then again, the original plot premise of the show didn't exactly grab me the way that Journeyman did.
Would it be so @#$! hard for the networks to adopt the BBC model of having 8-13 episode series and having them shot in advance, and then run them without interruption over the course of a season? Think of all of the new content we would get if that were to happen..

Shorter seasons, finite run lengths, and "anthology time slots" wold be great.
Is Skiffy dropping repeats of BWINO because BWINO is bad for their ratings or because NBC wants to (out of desperation) try to nudge those viewers to watch it on the main network.
