Fractured Season

What is it with boys and broken bones? Yesterday, my son managed to fracture his wrist. Last year he broke a toe, and two years before that he broke his ulna. He plays point for three different basketball teams, and now he's out for the rest of the season just as tournament time is coming up. I'm not sure which is worse for him...the excruciating pain of multiple fractures, or having to sit on the bench and watch his teams play without him.
