One of my friends now lives with his GF just outside Manchester and he got tickets through a nod and a wink in the right direction to go and see The Rams (Derby County, my home city's team) play Manchester United at Old Trafford.
On a cold and rainy day (Saturday) we watched the Rams get stuffed 4-1 (actually we didn't see the last goal, a penalty, as we left 10 minutes before the end).
What made the whole thing worse is that we were sitting in a stand full of United fans!
We got up this morning and watched the Ricky Hatton fight (he lost in the 10th round). :(
