For those that don't already know....

I'm proud to announce that Star Trek: New Voyages has won the TV Guide Award for best Online Sci Fi Webisode category. Here's a link to the TV Guide site with clips from the winning epsiode and those that also competed for the category:

This is really something to have a fan produced video to beat out 2 studio produced videos - The SciFi Channel's Battlestar Galactica and USA's The 4400.

Congrats to James Cawley and his team!

C'mon... give 'em a challenge. JJ could beat out GINO by filming Stallion shaving RGrant's back... on VHS.

AWESOME! These guys do a GREAT job preserving the Star Trek series! I love what they've done with it. They should feel honored.

I must as Elvis Trek annoys me, I'm happy it beat out Skiffy's crap webisodes.

This is good news. I've always enjoyed these episodes (and Elvis Kirk has gotten a lot better, as they all have), but "World Enough and Time" really elevated the series to a whole new level (OT: My only complaint about the episode was that Sulu's greatly needed piloting skills really amounted to little more than a "slight right turn").

I watched the newest one today - I like the writing though the whole time/future selves is a little old. I do understand this is to bring in the older actors - but still.

The acting is no worse than TOS - and the FX are progressively better. This gives me great hope for all kinds of fan films - whether it's BSG or Firefly - or even someones own original work!
