Exactly right. And truth be told, I'm probably the only guy in the CA who wants to see Catherine Tate in a bikini.

I think that season ending with Rose being left behind was poignant and heart wrenching. Sometimes you just need to know when to leave the stage and have the audience wanting more. Everyone clearly wants more so.....

I just hope they handle it well.

If this was any other production, other then Doctor Who, I would have my doubts.

Not so in this case.

What can I say? I'm in my 40's and can appreciate the womanly attributes of just about any female. :wink: I trust RTD to give us a more likeable Donna in the next series.

There's something about Catherine Tate I can't put my finger on... I saw her as Donna in the Christmas special episode and I liked her performance as that character even though she didn't seem to fit the same mold as Billie Piper or Freema Ageyman. BBC America has been running 20 minute segments of The Catherine Tate Show after reruns of Absolutely Fabulous in the late evenings. The show is basically a comedy sketch show with Catherine Tate playing all manner of characters.

When watching the show, I'm not getting the same appeal from her that she had in that one episode of Doctor Who. I pretty much stopped watching her show altogether though. When she comes back to Who, I'll watch as I liked that character, but as for universal eppeal, I just don't see it.
