The Fact Is This!!
DAISIES Is On
At --> 9 <-- Tonight!!

I am – Hercules!!

A public service announcement:

“Pushing Daisies,” the best new show of autumn, is airing tonight an hour later than usual.

It’s trouble for a number of reasons:

1) The print edition of TV Guide says “Daisies” is not on at all tonight and that a new episode of “Private Practice” airs at 9 p.m.

2) Those with VCRs set to “Daisies’” regular 8 p.m. timeslot will get a couple of Christmas specials.

3) Even those who keep a lot of shows on their DVRs may run into trouble. The TiVo I use for “Daisies” normally records “Gossip Girl” and “Bionic Woman” at 9 p.m., and that TiVo can only record two shows at a time, which means something wasn’t going to get recorded.

4) This being a perfect storm of audience frustration, “Daisies” was pre-empted in Canada last night by the "Dancing With The Stars" finale, so there’s no early review of tonight’s “Daisies” on AICN.

And I know those who missed tonight's installment will be double-bummed because there's no new epiosode next week.

9 p.m. Wednesday. ABC.

This gives us a head-to-head match up of Pushing Daisies versus The Bionic Woman.

I wonder which one will win?

Rats! I watched a silly Hallmark movie because I thought Daisies was off this week.

There has to be some snide way to combine "Pushing Daises" with what most likely happened to BW's ratings with that competition.

Last week, local weather warnings ruined my recording of it.
So I have to snag it on rerun, or download it.

This week I noticed that Fuller did not direct, and it did not make the show suffer. I recall reading a TV blog doom sayer claiming ABC was very unhappy with budget over runs for the series, and kept Fuller from directing the future episodes.

Still, PD tops my list of new shows that don't suck. Life would probably come in as a surprise second.

Having it air immediately after "Grinch" had a symmetry to it.
