very cool. any news if the original actors will be voicing the toons in this? It might not be a new movie - but it's probably the best we'll get for more ghostbusters. Of course if it's a console game I'll at best see the videos on Youtube.

A friend of mine was telling me that Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Rick Moranis, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson were all on board for voicing the game....and echoed your sentiment that this will probably be the closest we'll get to Ghostbusters III.

I am wondering, which actors this day and age could really take the torch that Murray, Akroyd, Ramis, Hudson, and Moranis carried in the original movies?

Off the top of my head, and keeping in mind that I mean this as Next Gen, not new actors in the original roles, I'd say:

Nathan Fillion
John Barrowman
Kevin Smith
Rosario Dawson

Three of the names I recognize (Fillion, Smith, and Dawson)...and I can easily see Fillion and Smith in a next gen type of role.

Dan Akroyd wrote the game, I believe.

There is feature of this in the latest Game Informer. The developers claim that they will have better sfx than the original movies.

They built their engine in-house and they claim they can have 1000 objects interacting (basically physics) in the scene.
