View Full Version : Heroes pay tribute to Mutant X
So the mystery girl in the picture, on tonights episode of Heroes, is Victoria Pratt.
I thought that name sounded familiar.
That's the actress in Mutant X and both shows were about people with extraordinary powers.
Thats Kinda cool for them to use her name for one of their characters.

Mamma P is a tough cookie resisting Parkman and  he took her secret.
I loved what HRG did to Elle.
No surprise at this point who killed Hiro's pop.
I didn't see last weeks but this week was quite entertaining. And thank Kring there was no wonder twins! Even West was tolerable.
It's funny, I'd wondered if Claire's blood would have any restorative properties...
Great, great episode all around!!!

I pretty much knew who killed Hiro's Father anyway as soon as it happened. When Hiro went back into the past , I said to my wife that Hiro is going to do something to someone that will make that person want revenge on Hiro and end up being the main bad person behind all the trouble in the future.
The Irony of it all will be that the kindest character in the show will end up being the reason for the evil that drives the main bad guy.
I've guessed almost everything else up to this point. :)
Still is my favorite show on TV. :)

Pitty that Mutant X sucked though. Heroes should really steer clear of paying any kind of homage to such shite to be honest.
I mean Heroes is worlds different to Mutant X.
Mutant X was shallow in every way imaginable and tried to rip off the X Men.
Heroes is different because while like Mutant X it borrows the concept of X men and all. It focuses far more on the human side of things.

The episode was great ...
except they brought Noah back to life. That is kind of a cop-out. It would be really a shocking/killer development if they really kill Mr. Bennett off.

Insert the start of the virus here. That was the exact moment it hit the human population. Watch.

Mutant X, The 4400, Heroes... even Skiffy's epic Painkiller Jane are all pretty much the same in general premise and, in TV, are all derived from The X-Men movie. The difference is in how that plot is presented.

4400 and Heroes being the two strongest. Though haven't seen any of season two of heroes yet so my comment is based on the first series.
